Elevarq trademark policy

Our marks

The marks covered by this policy are:

• Elevarq™
• Elevarq Workbench™
• Elevarq Analyzer™
• Elevarq Insight™
• Elevarq Signals™
• Elevarq logos and wordmarks

These marks identify products and services provided by Scantr LLC. They are not represented here as federally registered marks. Do not use the registration symbol "®" with an Elevarq mark unless Scantr LLC publishes an updated notice authorizing that use for the applicable mark.

A United States trademark application for the Elevarq word mark is pending before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Serial No. 50010529, filed July 23, 2026) in International Classes 9 and 42. A pending application does not authorize use of "®"; the Elevarq marks remain "™" until and unless a registration certificate issues. The Elevarq product names remain common-law marks and are not the subject of this application.

Uses that do not require permission

You may use the Elevarq word marks to:

• truthfully identify or describe an Elevarq product;
• state that your product, service, article, or project works with or relates to an Elevarq product;
• publish accurate reviews, comparisons, commentary, news, research, tutorials, or criticism;
• identify Elevarq products used by your organization in a factual customer list or case study; and
• link to an Elevarq website, repository, or documentation page.

When doing so:

• use only as much of the mark as is reasonably necessary to identify the relevant product;
• use the mark accurately and do not alter the product name;
• make your own name or brand more prominent than the Elevarq mark; and
• do not imply sponsorship, certification, partnership, or endorsement by Scantr LLC where none exists.

Examples of acceptable descriptive wording include:

• A deployment guide for Elevarq Workbench
• Works with Elevarq Analyzer
• An independent comparison of Elevarq and other PostgreSQL analysis tools
• This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Scantr LLC.

Uses that require written permission

Unless applicable law permits the use independently of this policy, obtain written permission before you:

• include an Elevarq mark in the name of a company, product, service, application, package, domain name, social-media account, event, or certification program;
• use an Elevarq logo or wordmark in marketing, merchandise, or promotional material;
• modify, recolor, distort, animate, or combine an Elevarq logo or wordmark with another design; or
• describe a product or service as "official," "certified," "authorized," "approved," or "partnered" by Elevarq or Scantr LLC.

Permission is specific to the approved use and does not transfer to another person or organization.

All rights not expressly granted by this policy are reserved. This policy does not grant any license to the Elevarq marks except as expressly stated.

Uses we do not permit

We do not permit:

• use of an Elevarq mark in a way that is likely to cause confusion about the source, sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or endorsement of a company, product, service, or communication; or
• use of an Elevarq mark primarily to attract search traffic to an unrelated or competing offering, including misleading use in metadata, advertising keywords, domains, or page content.

Nothing in this policy authorizes deceptive, misleading, or unlawful use of an Elevarq mark.

Naming compatible or community projects

You may state that an independent project works with an Elevarq product, but the project name should remain clearly independent.

Prefer descriptive forms such as:

• Example Connector for Elevarq Workbench
• Example Tools — compatible with Elevarq Analyzer

Do not use names that suggest the project is an official Elevarq product, such as "Elevarq Example," "Official Elevarq Connector," or "Elevarq Certified," without written permission.

Include a clear independence statement where confusion could otherwise arise, for example:

This project is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Scantr LLC.

Logos and brand assets

Permission to use an Elevarq word mark does not automatically include permission to use an Elevarq logo, icon, or other brand asset. Use those assets only under published Elevarq brand guidelines or with prior written permission from Scantr LLC.

Do not use an Elevarq logo as your own application icon, company logo, account avatar, or favicon.

Open-source software

Software licenses and trademark rights are separate. A license to use, copy, modify, or distribute software does not by itself grant permission to use Elevarq trademarks, logos, or branding except as needed for accurate attribution or as otherwise permitted by applicable law or this policy.

Third-party trademarks

PostgreSQL and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. References to them by Elevarq are descriptive and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Requesting permission or reporting misuse

To request permission, ask a trademark-policy question, or report suspected misuse, email legal@elevarq.com with:

• your name and organization;
• the mark or asset you want to use;
• a description or mockup of the proposed use;
• where and for how long it will appear; and
• your contact information.

We will respond in writing. Do not treat silence as permission.

Policy changes

Scantr LLC may update this policy as its products, branding, and trademark status change. The date above identifies the current version.

Elevarq™, Elevarq Workbench™, Elevarq Analyzer™, Elevarq Insight™, and Elevarq Signals™ are trademarks of Scantr LLC. Elevarq is also a trade name of Scantr LLC. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
